This print came about after the original Hatoba print assignment was changed to be erasing 1/2 of the plate and adding a new design. The professor was quoted as saying it’s like butter. However, this was not the case and in order for it to be like butter one would have to be Popeye. So, this washed and etched print was created depicting Popeye with a press and a carver.
