This crying baby found object painting was started in 2001 and “completed” in 2010, but as it is a found object painting, it will never be finished. In fact, there are 4 new pieces waiting to be added to this piece. This piece started as a realization that when a baby loses its pacifier, it is like losing their whole world for that little bit they do not have it (or a substitute). So, when Jettychan found a pacifier on the ground in 2001, this is what she thought about, this painting. Several years later she finally gathered enough pieces to make this painting. It is acrylic on stretch canvas with nail polish tears. As it is updated, so will these photos.
