This drawing is from a series of fan pieces that explore the world of faeries.  It is reference from a fantastic book called Faeries, written by Brian Froud in 1978, but still remains one of the best books on Faeries and fantastical creatures. You cannot buy that edition but there is a deluxe edition for sale on Amazon here. If you are interested in awesome fantastical creatures with exquisite drawings pick it up.
